I love teaching. Throughout my academic career, I have had the opportunity to teach a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses in psychology, research methods, and mental health counseling. I began my teaching career at New York University and have taught at Baruch College, City University of New York (CUNY), since 2018. I have also taught and mentored doctoral students in the Health Psychology and Clinical Science (HPCS) PhD Program at the CUNY Graduate Center.

My approach to teaching emphasizes critical thinking, the application of psychological science to real-world problems, and the development of research and clinical skills. I strive to create an engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that encourages students to think critically, ask questions, and develop confidence in their abilities.

Teaching and mentorship have been among the most rewarding aspects of my academic career. In recognition of my commitment to teaching, I received the Distinguished Teaching Award from the Department of Applied Psychology at New York University in Spring 2017.
